Lennox Head SLSC Wedding
Some words from the Brides about their wedding at Lennox Head SLSC:
“Our styling is inspired by the beauty of the natural surrounds of Lennox head. In particular the coastal banksia which is in flower at the moment and the Tea tree lake and Paperbark wetlands and of course the headlands, dunes and ocean. Both our dresses reflect this inspiration – silk ecodyed with botanicals and straw coloured linen. We have a deep reverence for this place and the significant cultural heritage of the land. We feel very blessed to live here. There will be an acknowledgment of country at the start of our ceremony and a smoking with smudge sticks to release any negative energy and ground people in place and ceremony helping us to make a sacred place for that moment where we will marry witnessed by all our loved ones, our community. And of course last but not least we will be proudly standing together in love as our beautiful rainbow family. There may even be a rainbow flag or two. We are bringing all our friends and family together to witness our love and celebrate with us in our joy of having our beautiful family. Lennox Head SLSC wedding”
I hugely enjoyed capturing their day. The LGBT community really bought the joy, colour and warmth to the day. It was so lovely getting to know both Brigid and Wendy throughout the process. And I really hope I get to shoot more weddings a Lennox Head SLSC.
