Byron Bay elopements

JUST THE TWO OF YOU

An elopement is the whole day distilled: the two of you, a celebrant, and somewhere worth standing. No seating plan, no speeches you’re dreading, no year of planning.

Byron gives you an unfair number of options – a beach at sunrise, the rainforest, the lighthouse, a clearing in the hinterland with nobody else in it.

I’ve photographed elopements at Ocean Farm, Coogee at sunrise, Beach House Avalon and Kangaroo Valley, and the pattern is always the same: it’s calmer, it’s cheaper, and the photographs are better because nobody is performing.

Tell me where and when

Send me the date and the place you’ve got in mind – or just the date, and I’ll help you find the place.

Two of you and a celebrant is plenty. Bring ten people if you’d rather – it still counts if nobody had to sit through a seating plan.

I know which lookouts are quiet at sunrise, which beaches need a permit, and the celebrants worth booking early. Tell me roughly what you’re imagining and I’ll come back with prices and a few places that would suit it.

If a Monday-to-Friday date suits, weekday elopements in Byron cost less and the light is exactly the same. There’s more of the range on my Byron Bay wedding and elopement page.
